A direct Mac client.

The trusted public installer is not available yet.

Developer ID signing, Apple notarization and Google public sign-in approval are release prerequisites. No App Store listing is planned. Do not disable Gatekeeper to run an untrusted download.

Early-beta access

Contact alex@fallx.io to discuss testing. A normal public download will appear here after the release checks pass. Install only a build supplied by a publisher you trust; do not run shell commands to bypass macOS protections.

Connect your Gmail

Create or select your Google Cloud project and enable Gmail API.
Configure the Google Auth Platform audience for your own use. If External and Testing, add your Gmail address as a test user.
Create an OAuth client of type Desktop app and download its JSON. Import it in Draft Settings. If Google does not offer the download, paste your client ID and secret in Draft’s native secure fields.
Choose Sign in with Google, then grant Gmail access. Your workspace administrator may need to allow the app.

Google client setup is an early-beta requirement. The public release is intended to ship a publisher client after Google approval so users can sign in without creating their own project. Testing-mode Google connections can require reconnecting.

Connect your own AI

In Settings, choose Connect AI securely. Select the provider, enter its full API endpoint and model ID, and paste your key into the native secure field. Keys never appear in the web interface.

Ollama on this Mac: choose OpenAI-compatible and use http://127.0.0.1:11434/v1/chat/completions with your installed model ID.
Other compatible services: use the full chat-completions endpoint supplied by your provider. Remote endpoints must use HTTPS.

A chat subscription does not necessarily include API access. Your provider may bill API requests separately. Choose a provider whose data terms are suitable for your email. No AI connection is required for manual reading, writing or mailbox actions.

Work through your mail

Use J/K to move between conversations, R to reply, E to finish and archive, Command-N for a new email, and Command-F to search. Type your reply directions and request an AI draft, then edit it. Review & send opens a separate approval dialog. Done & next advances only after an archive succeeds.

Current boundaries

This is a Gmail-only beta. Drafts are stored locally, not synchronized as Gmail Drafts. The app supports plain-text messages, reply all, forwarding conversation text, selected attachments, labels, batch mailbox actions and short-lived undo. It does not yet offer calendar integration, rich HTML composition, scheduled sends or an automatic updater. Mail and AI behavior outside the verified tests should be exercised with test accounts before a public launch.
